Oakville's residents enjoy the Al Brant City Park, located on the corner of State and Main, directly across from City Hall.

Area residents and visitors also enjoy a variety of recreational opportunities available in the nearby Capitol Forest, including hiking, horseback riding, hunting, camping, and mountain biking.  Other nearby recreational opportunities include the Chehalis River and the Black River, which offers public launches and water sports including boating, canoeing, kayaking, swimming and fishing.
