OCTOBER 11, 2021

Mayor Angelo Cilluffo called the regular Council Meeting of October 11, 2021 to order at 7:30 P.M. Everyone joined in the Pledge of Allegiance.

ROLL CALL:

Council Members Bill Breedlove, Traci Fallow, Dan Martin, John Ruymann and Julie Zehe answered roll call.


APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

A motion was made by Councilperson Martin with a second by Councilperson Breedlove to accept the regular minutes of September 13, 2021. Motion carried.


PUBLIC HEARING: None

CITIZENS COMMENTS: None


MAYOR’S REPORT:

Brought up the Park bullying issue seen on Facebook.


PRESENTATIONS/COMMITTEE REPORTS: None

ATTORNEY’S REPORT: None

POLICE REPORT: None


WATER/STREET REPORT:

No written report. Heads up on radio issue between the tanks and the well. In regard to the roads project, RFQ for On-Call Engineers are to be done. Councilperson Breedlove will send template to Chris.


STAFF REPORT:

2022 Budget Discussion, no questions, or ideas to add to previous report from the last workshop.


OLD BUSINESS:

Neeley-Simmons Park Results. There was an offer on Facebook for tree donation to look into. Motion by Councilperson Ruymann with a second by Councilperson Zehe to request bids for fencing. Motion carried.


CORRESPONDENCE: None


NEW BUSINESS:

City Hall Sprinkler Quote. After discussion a motion by Councilperson Ruymann with a second by Councilperson Martin was made to accept the Greenscape Bid. Motion carried.


ORDINANCES & RESOLUTIONS:

RES#433-Lemay Rate Adjustment, a motion was made by Councilperson Ruymann with a second by Councilperson Fallow to move forward with RES#433. Motion carried.


CLERK’S REPORT:

Clerk-Treasurer, Amy Durga, submitted: Checks #20606-20617 and EFTs dated 09/27/2021, in the amount of $27,480.73.

Checks #20618-20633 and EFTs dated 10/6/2021, in the amount of $4,824.81.

Payroll Checks #13015-13021 and EFTs for September 2021, in the amount of $18,292.31.

A motion was made by Councilperson Zehe with a second from Councilperson Martin to accept the Clerk’s Report as presented for payment of the bills. Motion carried.

No further business. A Motion was made by Councilperson Martin with a second from Councilperson Ruymann to adjourn the meeting at 8:05 PM. Motion Carried.
