Mayor Anthony Smith called the regular Council Meeting of November 14, 2022 to order at 7:30 P.M. Everyone joined in the Pledge of Allegiance.

ROLL CALL:

Council Members Bill Breedlove, Lisa Stephens, and John Ruymann answered roll call. Motion made to excuse Traci Fallow and Julie Zehe. Motion carried.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

Motion made by Councilperson Breedlove with a second by Councilperson Ruymann to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting of October 24, 2022. All in favor. Motion Carried.

PUBLIC HEARING: 2023 Property Tax Hearing and 2023 Budget Hearing (2023 Draft Budget) 1 of 2 both opened at the same time. Opened at 7:31pm and closed at 8:06 pm.

Submitted October report.

PUBLIC WORKS REPORT:

Monthly report for October submitted.

STAFF REPORT: 2023 Draft Budget, Traffic Cameras, crosswalk lights at Holy Lamb. Further discussion for Workshop.

OLD BUSINESS: 

CORRESPONDENCE: Letter of Interest from Werth, Meile Letter.

NEW BUSINESS: Levy Refund Letter. Motion made to accept as written by Councilperson Stephens and seconded by Councilperson Breedlove.

ORDINANCES & RESOLUTIONS: ORD #634-2023 Property Tax.

CLERK’S REPORT:

Checks #21012-21023 and EFT’s dated 10/20/2022, in the amount of $153,824.13

Checks #21024-21044 and EFT’s dated 11/08/2022, in the amount of $19,069.86

Payroll Checks #13106-13112 and EFT’s for October 2022, in the amount of $19,385.14

Motion to accept made by Councilperson Breedlove with a second by Councilperson Ruymann. All in favor. Motion Carried.

COUNCIL COMMENTS: Public Works Board

No further business. A Motion was made by Councilperson Ruymann with a second from Councilperson Breedlove to adjourn the meeting at 8:19 pm. All in favor. Motion carried.
