Mayor Angelo Cilluffo called the regular Council Meeting of November 08, 2021 to order at 7:30 P.M. Everyone joined in the Pledge of Allegiance.

ROLL CALL:

Council Members Bill Breedlove, Dan Martin, John Ruymann and Julie Zehe answered roll call. A motion was made by Councilperson Zehe and seconded by Councilperson Martin to excuse Councilperson Fallow. Motion Carried.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

Motion made by Councilperson Martin with a second by Councilperson Zehe to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting of October 11, 2021. Motion Carried.

PUBLIC HEARING:

2022 Budget Public Hearing 1 of 2 opened at 7:31pm. No comments. Closed 7:33pm.

POLICE REPORT:

Is Neighborhood watch a possibility? Steve Shumate is the person to talk to for this. Moved to Workshop.

WATER/STREET REPORT:

HCI Industrial & Marine Coatings, Inc correspondence was discussed regarding failing coating on water tanks. There may be grant money available to replace tanks.

STAFF REPORT:

2022 Budget Discussion moved to Workshop.

OLD BUSINESS: None

CORRESPONDENCE: None

NEW BUSINESS:

Fence Bids, get additional fence bids. Two bids received and two more we are waiting on. Might consider asking Chehalis Fencing and A+ for additional bids.

RFQ Engineering Services, should be posted in the Daily Journal of Commerce and our newspaper of record. Dates of publication moved Workshop. A motion to approve this form without dates by Councilperson Ruymann with a second by Councilperson Zehe was made to accept. All in favor. Motion carried.

ORDINANCES & RESOLUTIONS:

RES#434-Credit Card Policy. A motion by Councilperson Zehe with a second by Councilperson Martin was made to accept. All in favor. All in favor. Motion Carried.

CLERK’S REPORT:

Checks #20634-20643 and EFTs dated 10/25/2021, in the amount of $7,906.56. Checks #20644-20661 and EFTs dated 11/03/2021, in the amount of $32,181.53. Payroll Checks #13022-13028 and EFTs for October 2021, in the amount of $17,980.70. Motion to accept made by Councilperson Zehe with a second by Councilperson Martin. All in favor. Motion Carried.

COUNCIL COMMENTS: Councilperson Martin expressed a thank you to City Staff.

No further business. A Motion was made by Councilperson Ruymann with a second from Councilperson Zehe to Recess Meeting to November 22nd. All in favor. Motion Carried.
