Mayor Angelo Cilluffo called the regular Council Meeting of May 10, 2021 to order at 7:30 P.M. Everyone joined in the Pledge of Allegiance.

ROLL CALL:

Council Members Bill Breedlove, Julie Zehe and John Ruymann answered roll call. A motion was made by Councilperson Zehe with a second from Councilperson Breedlove to excuse Councilperson Martin and Councilperson Fallow. Motion Carried.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

A motion was made by Councilperson Zehe with a second by Councilperson Breedlove to accept the regular minutes of April 12, 2021. Motion carried.

PRESENTATIONS/COMMITTEE REPORTS: None

ATTORNEY’S REPORT: None

POLICE REPORT: Officer Parris gave a report that he is aware of the parking problem during the auction. Requests that people to call and report it when it is seen so that it is documented, and he can push harder to get more patrol during that time.

WATER/STREET REPORT:

Public Works Director, Richard Armstrong updated the council on the projects and work being done around the city in the Water, Streets, Cemetery and Parks departments.

STAFF REPORT: None

OLD BUSINESS:

Russell Line Lot- Discussion has been moved to the workshop.

GHC Paving Gravel Roads- Discussion has been moved to the workshop.

Greasy Biker Event- No new information was provide so topic was moved to workshop.

CORRESPONDENCE:

Ash St. Paving- Chehalis Tribe MOU- Discussion has been moved to the workshop.

NEW BUSINESS:

Eagle ST. Property Bid- A motion was made by Councilperson Zehe with a second from Councilperson Breedlove to accept the bid for the Eagle St. Property. Motion Carried.

Building Official Services Contract- A motion was made by Councilperson Ruymann with a second from Councilperson Zehe to approve the contract as written. Motion Carried.

DOC Agreement Renewal- A Motion was made by Councilperson Ruymann with a second from Councilperson Zehe to accept the agreement as written. Motion Carried.

EXECUTIVE SESSIONS: None

ORDINANCES & RESOLUTIONS:

SWRTPO Interlocal Agreement- RES #431- A Motion was made by Councilperson Ruymann with a second from Councilperson Zehe to accept the agreement as written. Motion Carried.

CLERK’S REPORT:

Clerk-Treasurer, Amy Durga, submitted: Checks #20463-20473 dated 04/26/2021, in the amount of $4,797.06. Checks #20474-20486 dated 05/06/2021, in the amount of $4,631.45. Payroll Checks #12980-12986 and EFT claims dated April 2021 in the amount of $18,707.78.

A motion was made by Councilperson Zehe with a second from Councilperson Ruymann to accept the Clerk’s Report as presented for payment of the bills. Motion carried.
