Mayor Thomas Sims called the regular Council Meeting of March 09, 2015 to order at 7:30 P.M. Everyone joined in the Pledge of Allegiance.
ROLL CALL:
Council Members John Ruymann, Angelo Cilluffo, Allan Palmerson, Traci Fallow and Julie Zehe answered roll call. All present.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
A motion was made by Councilman Cilluffo with a second by Councilman Palmerson to accept the regular minutes of February 09, 2015 and the emergency meeting minutes of February 17, 2015.
Motion carried.

CITIZENS COMMENTS:
B.Meile thanked the mayor and council for the action taken on Grace St.
K.Metz is happy to have things progressing between the City and Library.

PRESENTATIONS/COMMITTEE REPORTS: none
ATTORNEY’S REPORT:
Attorney Dan Glenn submitted a written report to the city council with his legal opinions on the current issues of the city and tonight’s agenda.
POLICE REPORT: none
WATER/STREET REPORT:
Public Works Director, Dan Thompson updated the council on the projects and work being done around the city in the Water, Streets, Cemetery and Parks departments. The council asked about lighting for the new City Entrance signs and those will be added.
STAFF REPORT: none
OLD BUSINESS:
Council ratified the agreement between the FOTL and the City for the remodeling funds.
CORRESPONDENCE: none
NEW BUSINESS:
Council discussed areas for future Annexation. The attorney will prepare some further information on how to get started in the process of annexing certain property north of the current City Limits.
We are still waiting for more information for the GHC Law Enforcement Contract and Chehalis Tribe Policing contract. These items will be discussed further at the next regular meeting.

CLERK’S REPORT:
Clerk-Treasurer Amy Durga, submitted: Checks #17982-17997 dated 02-19-15, in the amount of $19,916.52. Checks #17998-18013 dated 03-03-15, in the amount of $17,613.12. Payroll Checks #12287-12302 dated 02-28-15 in the amount of $11,946.70.
Motion was made by Councilman Cilluffo and seconded by Councilwoman Zehe to accept the Clerk’s Report as presented for payment of the bills. Motion carried.
COUNCIL COMMENTS:
Councilman Palmerson and Councilman Cilluffo commented that they are looking forward to hearing from the Chehalis Tribe for policing options. Councilman Ruymann commented that we have better policing now than we used to have when we had our own department. Councilwoman Fallow thanked the FOTL for their help with the remodel project.
