Mayor Anthony Smith called the regular Council Meeting of March 11, 2019 to order at 7:30 P.M.  Everyone joined in the Pledge of Allegiance.

ROLL CALL:

Council Members Julie Zehe, Traci Fallow, Allen Werth, John Ruymann answered roll call. Full Quorum.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

A motion was made by Councilperson Ruymann with a second by Councilperson Zehe to accept the regular minutes of February 11, 2019, after edit of roll call.  Motion carried.

PUBLIC HEARING: None

CITIZENS COMMENTS: None

MAYOR’S REPORT:

Hamilton Letter- Offer to buy old machine.  A motion was made by Councilperson Werth to except the offer. No second was made. Motion Failed. Subject Tabled until workshop

PRESENTATIONS/COMMITTEE REPORTS: None

ATTORNEY’S REPORT:  None

POLICE REPORT:  None

WATER/STREET REPORT:

Public Works Director, Richard Armstrong submitted a written report on the projects and work being done around the city in the Water, Streets, Cemetery and Parks departments.  Also informed council about a leak that they recently fixed on Grace St.

STAFF REPORT:

Don Terry- Zoning Changes & Tiny Homes Moratorium- A motion was made by Councilperson Ruymann to move forward with a moratorium for micro-homes with a second from Councilperson Zehe. Motion Passed.

Appointment of Council Position #3- Tabled until Workshop

CLERK’S REPORT: 

Clerk-Treasurer, Amy Durga, submitted:  Checks #19601-19614 dated 02/25/2019, in the amount of $6,704.97.  Checks #19615-19631 dated 03/07/2019, in the amount of $15,947.86. 

Payroll Checks #12803-12808 and EFT claims dated February 2019 in the amount of $17,167.35. 

Motion was made by Councilperson Fallow and seconded by Councilperson Zehe to accept the Clerk’s Report as presented for payment of the bills.  Motion carried.

COUNCIL COMMENTS:  None

A Motion was made by Councilperson Werth with a second by Councilperson Fallow to Adjourn the meeting at 8:22 PM. Motion Carried.
