Mayor Angelo Cilluffo called the regular Council Meeting of January 13, 2020 to order at 7:30 P.M. Everyone joined in the Pledge of Allegiance.


ROLL CALL:

Council Members Tom Sims, Traci Fallow, Dan Martin, Julie Zehe, and John Ruymann answered roll call. Full Quorum.


APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

A motion was made by Councilperson Ruymann with a second by Councilperson Zehe to accept the regular minutes of January 13, 2019. Motion carried.

POLICE REPORT:

Written report given to the council


WATER/STREET REPORT:

Public Works Director, Richard Armstrong submitted a written report on the projects and work being done around the city in the Water, Streets, Cemetery and Parks departments.


STAFF REPORT:

2019 Final Treasurers Report- Clerk-Treasurer, Amy Durga, Submitted a written report to the council with the final numbers for the 2019 budget.


OLD BUSINESS:

Fireworks in City Limits- Discussion about fireworks. Subject moved to workshop.

COG Representative and Alt.- Angelo Cilluffo Rep. and Dan Martin Alt.


NEW BUSINESS:

New Heat Pump Bids for City Hall- A Motion was made by Councilperson Sims with a second from Councilperson Ruymann to accept the bid with Advanced Heating and replace the heat pump for city hall. Motion Carried.

Fire Department- A Motion was made by Councilperson Ruymann with a second from Councilperson Zehe to allow the fire department to have a modular sleeping quarters for volunteers for overnight shifts. Motion Carried.

CLERK’S REPORT:

Clerk-Treasurer, Amy Durga, submitted: Checks #19919-19938 dated 12/23/2019, in the amount of $6,421.86. Checks #19939-19959 dated 01/09/2020, in the amount of $26,063.98.

Payroll Checks #12870-12876 and EFT claims dated December 2019 in the amount of $17,433.08.

A motion was made by Councilperson Fallow with a second from Councilperson Sims to accept the Clerk’s Report as presented for payment of the bills. Motion carried.
