Welcome to Oakville City Hall

Mayor Anthony Smith called the regular Council Meeting of February 13, 2023 to order at 7:30 P.M. Everyone joined in the Pledge of Allegiance.

ROLL CALL:

Council Members Bill Breedlove, Lisa Stephens, John Ruymann, and Julie Zehe answered roll call. Motion carried.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

Motion made by Councilperson Breedlove with a second by Councilperson Zehe to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting of January 9, 2023. All in favor. Motion Carried.

PUBLIC HEARING: None

CITIZENS COMMENTS: Ms. Hand thinks that the original monuments have moved and that is why the property lines have shifted. Surveyor Mark White was in attendance and discussed further survey of the corner.

POLICE REPORT: Report for January 2023 submitted.

PUBLIC WORKS REPORT: Monthly report for February submitted.

STAFF REPORT: None

OLD BUSINESS: Hand request moved to workshop.

CORRESPONDENCE: Council noted Fallow resignation. Werth Letter of Interest with a motion to accept made by Councilperson Zehe and seconded by Councilperson Stephens. Tie vote. Mayor thanked Richard for hard work for the city. Garcia letter read, no action will be taken.

NEW BUSINESS:. Library Lighting- motion made to accept lighting bid from Schumacher Electric. Motion made by Councilperson Breedlove and seconded by Councilperson Ruymann. Right of Way encroachment and Survey requirements for new building projects moved to Workshop.

EXECUTIVE SESSION:

No further business. A Motion was made by Councilperson Zehe with a second from Councilperson Breedlove to adjourn the meeting at 8:36 pm. All in favor. Motion carried.
