Mayor pro tem Traci Fallow called the regular Council Meeting of February 11, 2019 to order at 7:30 P.M.  Everyone joined in the Pledge of Allegiance.

 

ROLL CALL:

Council Members Traci Fallow, Julie Zehe, Anthony Smith, Allen Werth, John Ruymann answered roll call. FULL Quorum present

 

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

A motion was made by Councilperson Smith with a second by Councilperson Zehe to accept the regular minutes of January 14, 2019.  Motion carried.

PRESENTATIONS/COMMITTEE REPORTS: None

 

ATTORNEY’S REPORT:  None

 

POLICE REPORT:  

No Written report. Officer gave a brief oral report.

 

WATER/STREET REPORT:

Public Works Director, Richard Armstrong submitted a written report on the projects and work being done around the city in the Water, Streets, Cemetery and Parks departments.

CORRESPONDENCE:

Letters of Interest for Mayor Position- Cilluffo and Martin introduced themselves.

 

EXECUTIVE SESSIONS:

NEW BUSINESS: 

Appointment of mayor-   A motion was made Councilperson Ruymann to appoint Anthony Smith with a second from Councilperson Zehe to be mayor of Oakville. Motion Carried.

 

ORDINANCES & RESOLUTIONS: 

RES 420: Recognizing Dan Glenn- A motion was made by Councilperson Ruymann with a second from Councilperson Zehe to except the resolution as written. Motion Carried.

 

CLERK’S REPORT: 

Clerk-Treasurer, Amy Durga, submitted:  Checks #19572-19583 dated 01/29/2019, in the amount of $3,644.49.  Checks #19584-19600 dated 02/07/2019, in the amount of $16,293.27. 

Payroll Checks #12797-12802 and EFT claims dated January 2019 in the amount of $19,844.24. 

Motion was made by Councilperson Zehe and seconded by Councilperson Smith to accept the Clerk’s Report as presented for payment of the bills.  Motion carried.

A Motion was made by Councilperson Zehe with a second by Councilperson Smith to Adjourn the meeting at 7:55 PM. Motion Carried.
