Mayor Angelo Cilluffo called the regular Council Meeting of December 14, 2020 to order at 7:30 P.M.

ROLL CALL:

Council Members Bill Breedlove, Traci Fallow, Julie Zehe, and John Ruymann answered roll call. A motion was made by Councilperson Zehe with a second from Councilperson Ruymann to excuse Councilperson Martin. Motion Carried.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

A motion was made by Councilperson Breedlove with a second by Councilperson Zehe to accept the regular minutes of November 9 & 23, 2020. Motion carried.

PUBLIC HEARING:

2021 Budget Hearing 2 of 2- Opened 7:39- Closed 7:42

Recognition Policy Draft- Table till workshop

POLICE REPORT:

Officer Corey discussed downturn in cases for Oakville.

WATER/STREET REPORT:

Public Works Director, Richard Armstrong submitted a written report on the projects and work being done around the city in the Water, Streets, Cemetery and Parks departments.

STAFF REPORT:

Street Addressing Grant Update

OLD BUSINESS:

Eagle St Property- decision was made to declare the property surplus by resolution.

Citizen Award- A Motion was made by Councilperson Fallow with a second from Councilperson Ruymann to honor the citizen of the year with a restriction on city funds. Motion Carried.

NEW BUSINESS: None

ORDINANCES & RESOLUTIONS:

ORD#630- 2021 Budget- A Motion was made by Councilperson Ruymann with a second from Councilperson Breedlove to accept the 2021 Budget as written. Motion Carried.

CLERK’S REPORT:

Clerk-Treasurer, Amy Durga, submitted: Checks #20284-20304 dated 11/23/2020, in the amount of $8,134.09. Checks #20305-20326 dated 12/10/2020, in the amount of $40,692.65. Payroll Checks #12945-12951 and EFT claims dated November 2020 in the amount of $17,912.92.

A motion was made by Councilperson Ruymann with a second from Councilperson Fallow to accept the Clerk’s Report as presented for payment of the bills. Motion carried.

COUNCIL COMMENTS:

A Motion was made by Councilperson Ruymann with a second from Councilperson Fallow to cancel the December 28th Workshop. Motion Carried.

A Motion was made by Councilperson Zehe with a second from Councilperson Fallow to adjourn the meeting at 8:45 PM. Motion Carried.
