Mayor Angelo Cilluffo called the regular Council Meeting of December 13, 2021 to order at 7:30 P.M. Everyone joined in the Pledge of Allegiance.

ROLL CALL:

Council Members Bill Breedlove, Traci Fallow, Dan Martin, John Ruymann and Julie Zehe answered roll call.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

Motion made by Councilperson Breedlove with a second by Councilperson Ruymann to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting of November 8, 2021, and recessed meeting November 22, 2021. Motion Carried.

PUBLIC HEARING:

2022 Final Budget Hearing opened at 7:32pm. Questions on if there if money we can use for the new park when the time comes. There is in the General Fund. Closed 7:35pm.

ATTORNEY’S REPORT: None

POLICE REPORT:

Deputy Corey Parris email update expressing that they are aware of the resent prowls in Oakville and we have arrested a suspect. They will continue to increase presence to catch the criminals involved.

WATER/STREET REPORT:

See Monthly report. Richard will acquire estimates for dangerous tree removal.

STAFF REPORT: None

OLD BUSINESS:

We need to move forward hiring another part-time person to help Richard.

CORRESPONDENCE: None

NEW BUSINESS:

Tax Re-Levy Letter. Motion to accept Option A was made by Councilperson Ruymann and seconded by Councilperson Zehe. All in favor. Motion carried.

Abatement Issues. Don Terry, Chief Building Official will move forward with abatement and get quotes for cost to clean up.

ORDINANCES & RESOLUTIONS:

ORD #632-Tax Levy. A motion by Councilperson Ruymann with a second by Councilperson Zehe was made to accept. All in favor. Motion Carried.

ORD #633 Budget. Councilperson Martin with a second by Councilperson Ruymann was made to accept. All in favor. Motion Carried.

CLERK’S REPORT:

Checks #20662-20679 and EFT’s dated 11/29/2021, in the amount of $35,866.17 Checks #20680-20701 and EFT’s dated 12/09/2021, in the amount of $13,695.73 Payroll Checks #13029-13035 and EFT’s for November 2021, in the mount of $17,088.55. Motion to accept made by Councilperson Zehe with a second by Councilperson Martin. All in favor. Motion Carried.

COUNCIL COMMENTS: Councilperson Zehe, Councilperson Martin and Councilperson Breedlove expressed Merry Christmas. Councilperson Ruymann expressed a thank you to Mayor Angelo Cilluffo. And best thoughts to family of missing family.

No further business. A Motion was made by Councilperson Martin with a second from Councilperson Ruymann to adjourn at 8:15pm.. All in favor. Motion Carried.
