Mayor Anthony Smith called the regular Council Meeting of December 12, 2022 to order at 7:30 P.M. Everyone joined in the Pledge of Allegiance.

ROLL CALL:

Council Members Bill Breedlove, Lisa Stephens, and John Ruymann answered roll call. Motion made to excuse Julie Zehe. Motion carried.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

Motion made by Councilperson Breedlove with a second by Councilperson Ruymann to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting of November 14, 2022. All in favor. Motion Carried.

PUBLIC HEARING: 2023 Budget Hearing. Opened at 7:45pm and closed at 7:55pm.

CITIZENS COMMENTS: None

ATTORNEY’S REPORT: None

POLICE REPORT: None

PUBLIC WORKS REPORT: Monthly report for November submitted.

STAFF REPORT: Crosswalks and Speed Signs for Workshop

OLD BUSINESS: None

CORRESPONDENCE: Hand Right of Way request. Further discussion for Workshop on 1/23/23.

NEW BUSINESS: Levy Refund Letter. Motion made to accept as written by Councilperson Stephens and seconded by Councilperson Breedlove.

ORDINANCES & RESOLUTIONS: ORD #635-2023 Budget. Motion made to accept made by Councilperson Ruymann and seconded by Councilperson Breedlove. Roll call vote all in favor, ordinance passed.

CLERK’S REPORT:

Checks #21045-21057 and EFT’s dated 11/23/2022, in the amount of $39,605.01

Checks #21058-21081 and EFT’s dated 12/07/2022, in the amount of $18,913.71

Payroll Checks #13113-13119 and EFT’s for November 2022, in the amount of $18,345.56

Motion to accept made by Councilperson Stephens with a second by Councilperson Breedlove. All in favor. Motion Carried.

COUNCIL COMMENTS: Thank you from Councilperson Breedlove to Richard and Mayor Smith for working the TIB Grant for the school project. Thank you to Richard from Councilperson Stephens for resources listed in report.

No further business. A Motion was made by Councilperson Breedlove with a second from Councilperson Ruymann to adjourn the meeting at 8:07 pm. All in favor. Motion carried.
