Mayor pro tem Traci Fallow called the regular Council Meeting of December 9, 2019 to order at 7:30 P.M. Everyone joined in the Pledge of Allegiance.

ROLL CALL:

Council Members Julie Zehe, Traci Fallow, Angelo Cilluffo, Allen Werth, and John Ruymann answered roll call. Full Quorum.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

A motion was made by Councilperson Zehe with a second by Councilperson Cilluffo to accept the regular minutes of November 12 and 25, 2019. Motion carried.

PUBLIC HEARING:

Fire department Sign Update- Will be discussed at workshop

POLICE REPORT: None

WATER/STREET REPORT:

Public Works Director, Richard Armstrong submitted a written report on the projects and work being done around the city in the Water, Streets, Cemetery and Parks departments. Update on well repairs. Repairs will take place December 17-19. An update was given on signs for the cemetery that will state some rules to follow while out there. Followed by a brief discussion on other cemetery guidelines.

OLD BUSINESS:

Department of Corrections MOU- A Motion as made by Councilperson Ruymann with a second from Councilperson Zehe to accept the memorandum as written. Motion Carried

CORRESPONDENCE: None

NEW BUSINESS:

2020 Janitor Contract- A motion was made by Councilperson Ruymann with a second from Councilperson Werth to accept the contract as written. Motion Carried.

Public Works Interlocal Agreement- A Motion was made by Councilperson Ruymann with a second from Councilperson Zehe to accept the agreement as written. Motion Carried.

ORDINANCES & RESOLUTIONS:

ORD# 626- 2020 Budget- A Motion was made by Councilperson Ruymann with a second from Councilperson Zehe to accept the 2020 budget as written. Motion Carried.

EXECUTIVE SESSIONS: None

CLERK’S REPORT:

Clerk-Treasurer, Amy Durga, submitted: Checks #19888-19903 dated 11/25/2019, in the amount of $29,526.14. Checks #19904-19918 dated 12/04/2019, in the amount of $16,592.20.

Payroll Checks #12863-12869 and EFT claims dated November 2019 in the amount of $17,701.85.

Motion was made by Councilperson Zehe and seconded by Councilperson Cilluffo to accept the Clerk’s Report as presented for payment of the bills. Motion carried.

Councilperson Cilluffo- wants to wish everyone a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

Councilperson Werth- Wants to wish everyone a merry Christmas.

Motion was made by Councilperson Cilluffo with a second from Councilperson Ruymann to cancel the workshop for December 23, 2019. Motion Carried
