Mayor Pro Tem Traci Fallow called the regular Council Meeting of August 13, 2018 to order at 7:30 P.M. Everyone joined in the Pledge of Allegiance. 


ROLL CALL:

Council Members Julie Zehe, Anthony Smith, Allen Werth, and John Ruymann answered roll call. 


APPROVAL OF MINUTES:

A motion was made by Councilperson Ruymann with a second by Councilperson Smith to accept the regular minutes of July 9, 2018. Motion carried.

PRESENTATIONS/COMMITTEE REPORTS: None


ATTORNEY’S REPORT:

Attorney Dan Glenn submitted a written report to the city council with his legal opinions on the current issues of the city and tonight’s agenda


POLICE REPORT: Officer Parris stated July was a light month. Discussion about the alarm at the school.


WATER/STREET REPORT:

Public Works Director, Richard Armstrong submitted a written report on the projects and work being done around the city in the Water, Streets, Cemetery and Parks departments. Richard Armstrong stated that he now has his water operator license.

CLERK’S REPORT:

Clerk-Treasurer, Amy Durga, submitted: Checks #19356-19371 dated 07/23/2018, in the amount of $7,407.22. Checks #19372-19391 dated 08/08/2018, in the amount of $13,525.11.

Payroll Checks #12756-12762 and EFT claims dated July 2018 in the amount of $19,564.15.

Motion was made by Councilperson Zehe and seconded by Councilperson Smith to accept the Clerk’s Report as presented for payment of the bills. Motion carried.


COUNCIL COMMENTS:

John Ruymann- Congratulated Richard Armstrong on getting his water certification.


A Motion was made by Councilperson Werth with a second by Councilperson Zehe to Adjourn the meeting at 7:45 PM. Motion Carried.
